The VITA is a non-commercial professional organization and it provides translation and other services through its members - qualified translators. When you email a request we direct you to a VITA member and s/he will further communicate with you without our assistance. We dot charge any commission for our help. Rates will depend on the subject area, text complexity, deadlines and other factors. You can expect the following rates:
Translation with proofreading: between $0.07 and $ 0.12 per source word
Proofreading only: US$0.025 per source word; charge per hour US$21.00
Consecutive interpreting: from US$80.00/day
Simultaneous interpreting: from US$40.00/hour
